Welcome to Wicklow Chess Club

Wicklow Chess Club is based in Wicklow Town and is dedicated to promoting chess in the Wicklow area.  Chess is a game for all ages and can be enjoyed in equal measure by players of all abilities, from absolute beginner right through to grandmaster.  So, whether you’re seven or seventy, why not come down and join us for a game of chess?  And don’t worry if you don’t know how to play...we’re still learning too, but we’d love to teach you what we’ve learnt so far!

Our Junior Chess classes run from September to April on Thursday nights from 7.30pm to 8.30pm in the Holy Rosary School, Wicklow.  Click on our Junior Chess section for more details.
